ABOUT
Finn is a strong and professional trained urban (contemporary) & streetstyle dancer (choreography & freestyle) specialising in (urban) contemporary, hiphop, locking, house, experimental. She has competed in several national and international choreography (tv) shows and competitions.
From 2014 to 2021 Finn has danced with the world renowned dutch company; Oxygen.
From 2022 she is a freelance dancer with ARTA company led by Tamara Arruti in Spain, focusing on theatre and shows. Recently she joined CIE No Way Back in Belgium for their latest creation 'Winners?'
Along with her choreography/company side, Finn is a freestyle dancer in the (urban/experimental) battle scene, both national and international, known under the name Lil’ China.
She is focusing on her own movement language, creating a bold collaboration between urban and contemporary styles.
MOTIVATION
'Being able to use dance as a form of communication is what fascinates me the most. I have trained with many dancers from all over the world. All with different styles and different techniques. Using all of this information to develop my own way of movement. To define my style of dance: a bold collaboration between urban and contemporary styles.
Having a choreography background helps me to be able to control my movement and to guide others where needed.
Combining dance with film is one of my other obsessions. I love dance on screen. Working as a dancer in front and behind (direction, movement direction) offers me a deeper understanding of both worlds."
